Stefanos Tsitsipas was unable to progress as far as he would have liked in Paris and ends the season outside the Top 10 for the first time since 2018.
The top-ranked Greek tennis player, who was beaten by Sasha Zverev in the Bercy quarter-finals, has dropped one place in the world rankings and is now No.12, but is expected to return to No.11 next week. He is, however, definitely out of the ATP Finals, after five consecutive appearances.
Elsewhere, Zverev returned to a career high No.2, displacing Carlos Alcarath, while Novak Djokovic slipped to No.5.
On the Race side, Rudd, De Minor and Rublev are competing this week in the 250s and battling for a spot in the ATP Finals (11/10-17). Three places are up for grabs and Djokovic remains at No.6, but no one knows yet whether the 37-year-old Serb will go to Turin if he secures his ticket.
Among the women, Maria Sakkari fell to No.32 (-1), while Arina Sabalenka and Iga Sviontek are competing in Riyadh for the WTA Finals title and the year-end No.1.
