113,000 tickets are sold 100 days before the championship starts.
Communications manager for the World Cup company, Gro Eide, confirms that the men’s big hill (jump) and the team competition in big hill (jump) are sold out.
– We think it’s great fun. This weekend the season starts in earnest for the jumpers with the World Cup in Lillehammer, and we hope that will have a further effect on sales, says Eide.
She states that there are still a few free tickets for the men’s five-mile (cross-country) and the men’s relay (cross-country).
– But it is almost sold out.
Jumping star Johann André Forfang is happy about the ticket news.
– It promises very well. I think we are seeing the contours of the folk festival we all dream of, says Trønderhopps Forfang to Adresseavisen.
– The World Cup on home soil is a childhood dream, and it is clear that with full stands, the framework is set to really create these moments we have dreamed of. I think it will help to create memories and moments for the history books, both for performers and the audience.

According to Eide, the WC company has sold 113,000 tickets. The sales target is 220,000.

– It is difficult to predict fremetide, but compared to previous championships, we are. Now the ski season starts and Christmas is coming, and we hope it has an effect.
Eide tells about hectic days, where they are busy implementing a number of the World Cup plans.
– There is much that must be done and that must be in order. Now, among other things, we are in the process of clarifying Granåsen.
The first day of competition in the Trondheim WC is Thursday 27 February 2025. The championship runs until Sunday 9 March.
