BID ACCEPTED: Club agree Manchester United’s bid for 23-year-old attacker who’s seen as Marcus Rashford’s upgraded version

Manchester United are interested in signing CA Osasuna winger Bryan Zaragoza, as per reports.

Amid question marks over Alejandro Garnacho and Marcus Rashford’s long-term futures at Old Trafford, United have been linked with a number of attackers in recent times.

Victor Osimhen and Viktor Gyökeres have been among the headlines all January and in recent days Mathys Tel has also reportedly landed on the Premier League giants’ radar. Now, Fichajes have thrown another name into the mix.

According to the Spanish outlet, Zaragoza has attracted interest from United.

The 23-year-old left-winger is currently at Osasuna, on loan from Bayern Munich and his impressive form in La Liga has raised plenty of eyebrows.

United are understood to be admirers of his pace and ability to take on defenders consistently.

Several other European clubs are monitoring Zaragoza’s situation and have shown interest in signing him.

However, it is claimed that the Red Devils “have the advantage” in the race. The reason behind the suggestion remains unclear.

With a goal and five assists in La Liga this season, the Spain international, who is also capable of playing as an attacking midfielder, has established himself as a key part of Osasuna’s squad.

Accordingly, figures at Osasuna want to keep him but they have “already accepted” that Zaragoza’s time at the club is close to coming to an end as they are not in a position to compete with the Premier League’s financial might.

Interestingly, United aren’t in a great financial situation and having already agreed a deal for Patrick Dorgu it’s tough to see them making a move for Zaragoza without a major exit. It is stressed that they are likely to chase the Bayern player next summer.
