Super League: Over 3.5 million euros to the coffers of 10 teams from UEFA

Increased by approximately 60% compared to last year will be the amount that ten Greek clubs will receive from the Solidarity program of UEFA for the 2023/24 season.

The European Confederation announced the money that its member countries will receive from the specific program, which aims to strengthening of academies and more generally of their activities in the development sector.

Thus, in Greece they correspond 3,608,000 which will be shared equally among its ten clubs Super League 2023/24, who did not participate in a European organization group.

Which means how Olympiacos, PAOK, AEK and Panathinaikos they have no share in this “pie”.

This means that from 360,800 euros they will put in their coffers to strengthen their academies, o Mars, or Ghoul, the Panseraikos, the Asteras Tripoli, the panaitolikos, the OFI, the Fearless, the Marble but also the Kifissia and the PAS Ioannina who were relegated.

This is an increase of around 60% compared to the 232,000 in the period 2022/23. To have access to her money Uefa, all clubs must meet the minimum requirements of the licensing regulations relating to their academies.

This money is deposited around April and based of course on the outcome of the licensing process.

The 2023/24 season concludes the 2021-24 three-year period and opens the 2024-27 cycle where the UEFA has already earmarked even more money in the Solidarity programme.

OR Super League will receive for the current season 4,146,000, while in the groups of the European competitions the Olympic, the PAOK and the Panathinaikos.

Thus, 11 clubs (AEK, Aris, Lamia, Panserraikos, Asteras Tripoli, Panaitolikos, OFI, Atromitos, Volos, Kallithea and Levadeiakos) will receive 377,000 each to invest in their academies.
