FEE AGREED: Manchester United agree a huge transfer fee to secure attacker’s signing as the forward desperately want to join The Reds

Manchester United have one day left in the transfer window to conduct business of any kind. They have so far managed to ship Antony out on loan to Real Betis and have wrapped up a deal for Patrick Dorgu from Lecce.

Meanwhile, one player the Red Devils are closing in on letting go is Marcus Rashford, who has reached an agreement with Aston Villa over a loan deal and the two clubs are now in dialogue to iron out the details for this transfer to go through.

Now, as per German journalist Florian Plettenberg, Man Utd are preparing a solid loan offer with the provision to buy to secure the signature of talented French attacker Mathys Tel from Bayern Munich in the coming hours.

Here is what the journalist had to say:

“Manchester United have once again clearly signaled to FC Bayern in the last few hours that they are considering submitting a concrete loan offer for Mathys Tel.ManUtd want to prepare in case Marcus Rashford moves to Aston Villa. Bayern are now awaiting the next move from MUFC.”

Tel has been linked with an exit from the German club and was left out of their matchday squad yesterday. Should the Rashford deal go through, Manchester United would make an attempt to secure the signature of the teenage striker.

The German club’s striker is said to be willing to make the transfer to Man Utd and is valued at around £60m.

Considered he is one of the biggest talents going around in Europe, the Red Devils would do well to secure this deal.

Tel is versatile and can play as the number nine leading the line but can also play anywhere across the front three.

Surely, it would depend on the exit of Marcus Rashford and should they be able to pull it off, it could be one of the signings that save their season.
