BID ACCEPTED: Manchester United’s £100million for highly rated attacker has been accepted after the initial offer was rejected- Player now agreed personal terms and will complete his medical this morning before signing five-years deal

Manchester United are close to agreeing a deal for Brentford winger Bryan Mbeumo, journalist Sam Tabuteau has revealed.
The Red Devils are now nearing their second signing of the summer transfer window, with Mbeumo set to follow former Wolves forward Matheus Cunha to Old Trafford in another blockbuster deal.
Man United and Brentford are believed to be in the final stages of negotiations for the 25-year-old ace, with the Bees reportedly still looking to negotiate add-ons.
Mbeumo was the subject of an improved second bid from United this week, reportedly worth in excess of £60m.

Brentford looking to negotiate add-ons
Tabuteau, writing on X, has revealed that Mbeumo is closing in on becoming Man United’s second summer arrival, after Brentford received an improved bid this week.
Mbeumo is coming off a career-best Premier League season with the Bees, having scored 20 goals and provided eight assists in 38 appearances last term.
The ‘ridiculous’ Cameroonian, whose wage demands reportedly stand at £250,000 a week, has no shortage of suitors following his standout campaign, with Tottenham also said to be interested.
United are also expected to bring in a new striker this summer, with Sporting Lisbon’s Viktor Gyokeres and Napoli’s Victor Osimhen remaining on the radar.
The Red Devils could soon boost their transfer budget by offloading one of Old Trafford’s highest earners, with midfielder Casemiro believed to be in advanced talks over a move to Saudi Pro League side Al Nassr.
