Manchester City’s success coaches Pep Guardiola extends the contracts by one year. That’s what the renowned sports journalist Sam Lee writes in The Athletic.

Lee further writes that the agreements will be announced by the club within a few days.

The 53-year-old manager was originally out of contract this season. If the new agreement is completed, Guardiola will have been City manager for over ten years.

The new agreement must also contain a clause to extend the contracts by one year. That will end the 26/27 season.

Before the international match against Slovenia, Erling Braut Haaland spoke about Guardiola’s contract situation.
