FFK’s statement reads:

“Shouts such as ‘Kosovo is Serbia’ and ‘Serbia, Serbia’, whistling during the playing of the Kosovo national anthem, throwing hard objects and other offensive and provocative actions were present throughout the match, creating an unacceptable security atmosphere for our players.

FFK had warned the relevant UEFA bodies more than twice in writing about the possibility of such actions, once a few days before the match and a few minutes before the match started. Despite warnings, Romanian fans continued with irresponsible and discriminatory behavior, forcing the Kosovo national team to leave the stadium due to lack of safety and dignity.

For all these serious violations, FFK immediately reported the incidents to the match representative and has started to prepare a full complaint with evidence to be submitted to UEFA’s disciplinary bodies.”
