Here We Go: Arsenal agree transfer fee to sign ‘The most completes medical to join the Redse striker’ in Europe as the South American complete

Arsenal are determined to sign a marquee striker during the ongoing transfer window.

The club finished 10 points behind champions Liverpool in the recent Premier League campaign and need to make up ground with quality signings.

RB Leipzig’s Benjamin Sesko has emerged as the priority striker target. BILD report that Leipzig are ‘ready to talk’ for the striker from £59 million.

There is reportedly ‘great interest’ from Arsenal as well as Manchester United. The German outfit could secure as much as £84m from the deal.

Leipzig hoping for bidding battle on Sesko
The Gunners have entered concrete talks with Leipzig for the Slovenia international, who registered 21 goals and six assists from 45 games at club level last term.

The 22-year-old has been struggling with a minor knee injury post-season. He was left out of the friendly against Santos and did not play for his country last night.

It is quite clear that Leipzig want to avoid any major setback which could scupper a transfer.

The German outfit have no European football to play for next season. They need to make up for the same with a big-money departure. Sesko is their most valuable asset.

Arsenal are the ‘only club‘ negotiating with the club and player at the moment. United hold an interest but have not made any approach for the highly rated marksman.

BILD have a good association with several German clubs, and Leipzig are probably using them as a mouthpiece to trigger a bidding war for the striker this summer.

The Gunners should be aware of the possibility and must secure his services as soon as possible.
