Leandro Trossard (29) had to leave with an injury in Belgium’s Nations League match.
Arsenal have had another injury concern after Leandro Trossard had to be replaced after just 37 minutes in Belgium’s Nations League match against Israel.
It comes on top of at Bukayo Saka and Declan Rice withdrew from the England national team due to injuries.
Belgium national team manager Domenico Tedesco confirmed after the match that Trossard was replaced due to injury.
– It was a difficult fight for several reasons. The players we featured had never played or trained together before. “There were a lot of injuries before the fight, and we also lost Trossard and (Zeno) Debast during the fight,” Tedesco said, according to Daily Mail.
- On Monday, Netherlands national team manager Ronald Koeman also confirmed that Liverpool star Virgil van Dijk will not be in tonight’s match against Bosnia-Herzegovina. “The decision was taken on a medical basis, with regard to the players’ wishes,” says Koeman in one press release.
Arsenal already have several players on the injury list. Riccardo Calafiori has not played since the 1-0 victory over Shakhtar Donetsk in October. Ben White is expected to be out for up to eight weeks after knee surgery. In addition, Takehiro Tomiyasu and Kieran Tierney are long-term injuries.
It is unclear if Declan Rice wants to be back after the national team break. The midfielder took painkillers to play with a broken toe against Chelsea.
In September, captain Martin Ødegaard suffered an ankle injury in the Nations League match against Austria at Ullevaal. The dramatic man managed to return for Arsenal before the national team break, but did not participate in the matches against Slovenia and Kazakhstan as he needed more time to fully recover from the injury.
If Arsenal also have to manage without Saka, the injury to Trossard will be even more significant. Then Arsenal will be left with only Gabriel Martinelli as an established winger.

Arsenal are currently fourth in the Premier League, nine points behind league leaders Liverpool. They face Nottingham Forest in the next league round on Saturday.
